" Safeguarding Your Child Against Dating Violence"

Parents, Act Now: Protect Your Child from Dating Violence

Worried about your child's vulnerability to dating violence?  Shockingly, one in three U.S. teens aged 14 to 20 has encountered dating violence, and a similar number has engaged in such behavior.

Here are some critical statistics:

- 12% of 9th-12th grade girls in the U.S. have faced unwanted sexual encounters.

- One in six women has experienced rape before the age of 25, with 42% of these assaults occurring before age 18.

- Since entering college, 19% of young women report sexual assault incidents, often involving acquaintances or fellow students.

- 43% of college women have dealt with violent dating behaviors, encompassing physical, sexual, verbal, and controlling abuse.

- Additionally, 22% have endured physical or sexual abuse or faced threats of violence.

Disturbingly, a significant 58% of parents are oblivious to the signs of dating violence or how to support their child if they become a victim.

If your child is dating, initiating discussions about safe and healthy relationships is crucial. As a parent, your influence can make a substantial difference.

Our dating violence awareness course offers:

- Comprehensive insights into dating violence and coercive control strategies.

- Guidance to differentiate between healthy and unhealthy behaviors in social and dating settings and their lasting impacts.

- Tools to recognize signs that your child may be in an abusive relationship.

- Support and assistance strategies for your child.

Our mission is to collaborate with you to promote healthy relationships, educate you about dating violence and coercive control, and equip you with the tools for meaningful conversations with your child. We aim to foster an environment where your child feels comfortable sharing their experiences, thereby reducing their vulnerability to becoming victims or perpetrators.
