Teen in classroom

Did You Know?

1 in 3 teens ages 14 - 20 has experienced dating violence

Our curriculum helps young people and communities understand what healthy relationships look like and how to recognize the signs of dating violence.  Through engaging lessons, we cover:

  • Signs of different types of abuse
  • The difference between healthy vs unhealthy relationships
  • Tactics abusers use
  • The impact of adverse childhood experiences
  • Barriers that make it hard to leave...and much more

By raising awareness and teaching practical skills, we give teens and families the tools they need to prevent dating violence and build safer, stronger communities.

The Katie Key Initiative

Dating and Domestic Violence Curriculum

Created by experts in domestic violence, advocacy, and forensic interviewing, The Katie Key Initiative offers a 5-hour, facilitator-led course designed specifically for teens and young adults.  Each participant receives a student workbook, interactive instruction, and meaningful assessments to track learning.
